Amaya Varini
Author, Composer
Amaya Varini developed her passion for composition at a very early age, taking her to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon, where she studied instrumental and vocal composition. Along the way, she had the opportunity to work with composers such as Alexandros Markeas, Betsy Jolas, Fredrick Schwenk, Wolfgang Andreas Schultz, Luca Antignani and Michele Tadini, all of whom had a significant influence on her artistic development. However, it was her meeting with composer Peter Michael Hamel during her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg that had the most decisive impact on her subsequent artistic career. Peter Michael Hamel encouraged her to explore, among other things, music for the stage, thus widening her perception of composition. In order to discover other facets of her personality and experience new things, Amaya decided to put her career on hold for a few years. She joined the Theatre and Musical course at the Cours Florent - Paris, which opened up unsuspected horizons for her. Enriched by her experiments, she rediscovered a deeper meaning in the conception of her art. She composes and writes for various ensembles and strives to preserve her uniqueness. Her music aims to combine musicality, virtuosity and authenticity. "A life under the floorboards” is her first musical.
